All partners reunited together again in Italy
The WOOD4PLASTIC consortium recently convened at Gruppo CCM in Modena, Italy, marking a significant milestone in our mission to develop sustainable, wood-based alternatives to conventional plastics. This meeting provided a platform to assess progress, address challenges, and refine strategic pathways for the next phase of the project.
One of the primary focuses was the analysis of data from the initial months, ensuring that the research and development efforts align with the project’s broader objective: advancing circular economy principles and delivering cost-effective, high-performance bioplastics. The collaborative spirit among partners highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary expertise in overcoming technological hurdles and accelerating innovation.
The WOOD4PLASTIC initiative is not merely about replacing plastics; it is about redefining how sustainable materials are developed and integrated into real-world applications. With a shared commitment to green technology, the project partners are working towards solutions that will transform the packaging industry while minimising environmental impact.
